Know your stickers
2-layer and 3-layer stickers
A sticker set may have 2-layer stickers, 3-layer stickers, or both. Each type is chosen for the hardware area it fits, so follow the matching printed instructions in your kit.
3-layer stickers
- Come as individual, pre-cut pieces.
- Peel off the matte layer first and use it as a holder.
- Mainly for larger hardware areas.
- Two peels, both done with the tweezer.
2-layer stickers
- Come uncut as a film set, because the pieces are small.
- Cut out each piece from the film before applying it.
- Mainly for smaller hardware areas.
- One simple peel with the tweezer.
Every set is complete, and you only get the layer types your bag needs. Please check your set before you start.

Self-sticking application
Is the sticking process difficult on my own?
It depends on the hardware area, and on your own skill and patience. Your kit includes all the tools you need, plus printed step-by-step instructions for applying 2-layer and 3-layer stickers.
Can I choose to work with only 2-layer or only 3-layer stickers?
No. Each sticker is made as 2-layer or 3-layer depending on what is easiest to apply on that hardware area. A set may have 2-layer stickers, 3-layer stickers, or both.
How do I know which sticker piece goes on which hardware area?
On most bag models the hardware areas are easy to identify. If you are unsure about any piece, contact us and we will help. Please do not guess, as a piece stuck on the wrong area will not fit well.
I made a mistake when sticking. Can I get a replacement, or buy only the pieces I need?
We may include extra pieces for some areas at our discretion. We are not able to give further replacements, and single pieces are not sold separately because the stickers come as a complete set. You are welcome to order a new full set.
Your sticker set
My sticker set is damaged or missing pieces. Can I get a replacement?
All our stickers are machine-cut, pre-packed and quality checked before dispatch, so a set will not have missing or damaged pieces. Please check your set before you start, and contact us if anything looks unclear.
Some sticker pieces look yellowish or coloured. Is this normal?
Yes. The colour comes from the tinted film base used in manufacturing. Once you peel the sticker layer off its base, the sticker is 100% transparent.
There are air bubbles under the sticker after applying it. How do I get rid of them?
Small bubbles after applying are normal and will disappear on their own within a few days. Bubbles caused by dust, dirt or an uneven application will not go away, so clean the hardware well and press the sticker down evenly.
